Activities on the campsite

The campsite has facilities for practicing your favourite sport. Its location next to the sea makes it ideal for Trekking and other activities related with the sea. We have some of the most famous beaches for Surfing. We recommend visiting the prehistoric Cave of Ekainberri (Zestoa).

Trekking in the Geopark

The coastal strip located between the towns of Deba and Zumaia is comprised of 8 kilometres of cliffs, the mountains descending abruptly towards the sea, forming one of the most spectacular natural spaces in the Basque Country.

Surfing

Surf on the increasingly renowned waves of Itxaspe, on the nearby beaches of Deba, Zumaia and Zarautz. Enjoy the famous Mundaka, barely an hour away. If you have not yet discovered surfing, enjoy the collaboration we have with Yako, the Deba Surf School.

San Sebastian - Donostia

Visit the beautiful Donostia: walk along the beach of La Concha (the best urban beach according to The New York Times), discover the pintxos and great atmosphere of the Old Town. Very convenient access: 25 minutes by car or 35 minutes by train (from Zumaia, free parking gratis and visits to the geopark by boat).

Visit and enjoy the best equestrian paintings of our ancestors, over 10,000 years old. Just 10km away, the guided visit of the replica will take you to another period and you will learn the original techniques of fire and hunting.

Next Friday the 31st at 10 a.m., we inaugurate the pool season. As every year, access is free for those staying in Itxaspe. Come enjoy the sun, water and fun in our facilities. We will wait for you!
